In The Small, Small Night

Abena's little brother Kofi can't sleep because he's afraid his family, who has just moved to the United States, will forget the grandmother and cousins who remain in Africa. Abena then tells Kofi stories from home that help him realize a family separated by a great distance is irrevocably connected.
